Tom & June viewed a property we had on the market recently.  The property was going through the auction process and unfortunately, they weren’t in a position to bid.  Tom & June knew that not every property sells under the hammer, so they did some more research and came back with the extended family to view.  After the auction was passed in, they made an offer that was conditional on the sale of their property at 4 Tiller Court.

The Campaign
Luckily over the same weekend, we met a lovely couple who were looking for something that sounded a lot like Tom & June’s place.  With some quick action, we were able to line up a viewing before the buyers headed back out of Auckland…. and they liked it!

The Deal
This is what we call an “off-market” sale.  Within a day of showing the buyers through, we had an offer to present Tom & June and negotiations started.  The off-market situation suited both parties, as Tom & June were not looking forward to having open homes and for our buyers, they managed to secure the property without buyer competition.  Now we know competition can see increased sale prices, however, we also know that if the property ticks all the boxes, some buyers are prepared to pay more to secure their new home without competition.  Overall, both buyers and sellers with happy with the outcome and so a great result all round!
