The Campaign
After explaining the various sale methods our sellers decided to trust us with the auction process.  They liked that there were four weeks with no advertised asking price and were prepared that we may not have bidding when it came to auction but would be able to price it shortly afterwards.  The marketing campaign involved professional day photography, drone footage and property video.  We boosted the property video throughout Facebook, ran advertising on Instagram as well using Trade Me, Realestate.co.nz and Harcourts.co.nz and we ran 4 weeks of full-page adverts in the Real Estate Outlook plus 2 weeks of 1/8th page adverts in the Herald Homes.

The Deal
We had one buyer at auction and although he wasn’t able to bid, he made sure he was there so he could make a conditional offer straight away.  He also limited his conditions to 5 working days which made it attractive for our sellers.
