As a second generation agent, Anita lives and breathes real estate. She has worked her way up the ladder in a variety of roles, including Personal Assistant, Sales Manager, and Sales Consultant. Anita has always been a ‘Coastie’, having grown up on the Hibiscus Coast and attending the locals schools here, she continues to be an active member of the community and has a thorough, first-hand understanding of the local market and the people who live here. Consequently, every facet of the real estate transaction is first class.
Anita has been a licensed salesperson since 2013 but had worked in real estate on and off since her early teenage years. When she was in her late teens, Anita’s dad owned Ray White Northcote, and she worked for him as the Office Manager, “I remember thinking at the time, I never want to be a real estate agent because all they do is work all the time!”.
As a long time local, Anita kicked off her real estate career in earnest on the Hibiscus Coast. “It is such a great place to raise a family. I love the community and the beaches, and it is a beautiful part of New Zealand,” she says.

Cara is often described as ‘the magic behind the scenes’, managing the internal workings of the office as the operations manager for Anita Dobson & Co.
Cara is complemented with invaluable industry experience, having originally joined the Harcourts family in 2004. With an extensive background in a variety of roles within the industry, including obtaining her real estate sales license, and having her own marketing business, she is known for providing unwavering support to many high-performing sales consultants on the vibrant Hibiscus Coast. Prior to joining Anita Dobson’s team, Cara spent six years running her own freelance graphic design and marketing business alongside raising her two young daughters. Leveraging her creative skills, she excels in crafting top-tier marketing strategies that ensure premium exposure for your property. With her keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, your property marketing is in excellent hands.
