Auckland saw a record number of auction sales in March with nearly one out of two homes selling by auction. REINZ data showed that on a suburb by suburb basis, auction sells for a premium compared to other sales.
I am constantly meeting buyers at open homes who are getting fed up with the market after missing out on one, two or even more auctions! But they still need to buy! For those working in the city, travel time is being compromised with more value for money. We are seeing huge growth in the outer suburbs of Auckland with the demand starting to spread to these areas also.
