Army Bay
An easy-care lifestyle, take a stroll around the clifftop trails while enjoying north facing views over the Hauraki Gulf. At low tide, explore the rock pools and caves between Army Bay beach and Fishermans Cove (also a great spot for a high-tide swim). Army Bay Beach is a popular spot during the summer months with many out-of-towners coming to enjoy picnics, fishing off the rocks, boat ramp and walking dogs.
Shakespear Regional Park is at the tip of the Peninsula and is home to three walkways, Heritage Trail, Lookout Track and Tiri Tiri Track. Te Haruhi Bay has the largest and most popular beach with wide grassed areas studded with large, shady trees lead down to the water’s edge and a campground is also situated here.
